Early on the morning of August 28 a strange situation developed at a Dunsmuir residence.
28-year-old Mikyna Odom was looking into the front windows of a residence, and then “entered uninvited through the front door.”
Odom reported that she needed a car and “wanted the keys to the car parked out front.”
The resident told her to leave but Odom kept looking for the keys, then left.
Investigators developed information that included the identity of the suspect.
The next day one of the deputies who received the information spotted Odom as she sat in a vehicle in Mt. Shasta.
“Odom was arrested and booked into the Siskiyou County Jail.”
