“MPD Officers arrested Paul Patterson Jr of Modesto after he was identified as the responsible in setting four separate small fires on Saturday morning around 8:30 am.
Patterson is suspected of setting a fire in the gutter near the 100 block of La Loma Avenue, at the gate of Ralston Tower at 18th and H Street, near the bathroom at Kewin Park and a small burned spot was located near a building in the 1800 block of H Street.
Officers located Patterson near Moose Park and after a short foot chase, were able to take him into custody.
Patterson was arrested and charged with four counts of arson, probation violation and resisting arrest. Great job to the witnesses, fire investigators and officers.”
