It was a “theft in progress” at the Walgreens on Riley Street at 8:00 pm on October 2nd.
Three female suspects “filled trash bags with over $1,000 worth of cosmetic products.”
The trio left in their Nissan Altima and proceeded onto Highway 50, where a Folsom PD officer saw them and attempted to stop them.
Instead, a chase ensued for 20 miles as the suspects drove over 120 m.p.h.
Finally, near Watt Avenue, ‘the vehicle caused a collision” which ended the chase.
Actually over $4,000 worth of merchandise was recovered “along with several thousand dollars in additional product stolen from a Walgreens location in Citrus Heights, earlier the same night.”
“Taylor Ross, 23, Gwendolyn Scott, 23, and Tiera Williams, 18, all of San Francisco, were arrested on multiple felony charges including grand theft, conspiracy, and reckless evading causing injury.”
