The CHP has made an arrest in connection to the murder of Matthew Winks from Sonora. Shortly after 3PM, Central Division CHP Investigative Services Unit (ISU) placed Dylan Colby Moyle under arrest in the Manteca Area after he was seen driving a 2006 Jeep SUV.
On October 3, 2020, the Sonora Area CHP was called to investigate a collision at the intersection of Fifth Avenue at Seventh Street in Jamestown. The preliminary investigation indicated Matthew Winks, 42 from Sonora, was struck by a motor vehicle that fled the collision scene. Upon further investigation, it was determined Dylan Colby Moyle was connected to Mr. Winks’ death.
Dylan Colby Moyle was booked into the San Joaquin County jail for 187-PC.
