“Just after one a.m. on October 5th, Placer County Sheriff’s deputies driving westbound on Interstate 80 attempted a traffic stop near the Auburn Boulevard/Riverside Avenue exit.

The driver failed to stop and continued westbound I-80 for over seven miles before finally pulling over at Madison Avenue. The driver was identified as 42-year old Latoya Dinkins of Sacramento, who was on probation out of Sacramento County.

A search of her car revealed a broken glass pipe, a baggie of heroin, a baggie of methamphetamine, and a live .44 magnum round near the driver’s seat.

Dinkins was arrested and charged with being a felon in possession of ammunition, evading a peace officer, possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.”
