“While on patrol, deputies conducted a vehicle stop in the Howe and Arden area that quickly became anything but routine.
Subjects refused to stop for deputies and lead them on a chase that became a foot pursuit when they hit a dead end.
One subject was seen trying to discard a gun while running from deputies.
Both subjects were detained and a search of the vehicle yielded a backpack containing large amounts of marijuana, a scale, ammunition, two high capacity magazines, and almost six thousand dollars in cash.
