“A 21-year-old male in Red Bluff was arrested Monday for sexual assault after an incident on Halloween night.
The 22-year-old victim invited Gavin Parker to her Halloween party on Mina Ave. in Red Bluff. The victim believes Parker provided her with an unknown substance during the party that made it hard for her to maintain consciousness. After most of the guests left, Parker asked to stay the night and was told he could sleep on the couch.
Parker made a romantic advancement on the Victim, which she refused. Parker then forcibly raped and strangled the Victim until she passed out.
Parker, who is on parole for domestic violence, was contacted by detectives on 11/02/2020 at the California Parole Office in Red Bluff, was arrested and booked into the Tehama County Jail for rape of a drugged victim by force likely to cause great bodily injury. Bail was set at $315,000.”
