On November 7 after 10:00 p.m. a man was show in Willows and lay on the road on North Humboldt Street.
Witnesses heard one gunshot and saw two people running from the scene.
Although 28-year-old Daves Fernandez, a transient out of Corning, was taken to the hospital, he later died.
An investigation into this homicide has begun.
While the investigation was going on, a 17-year-old male was admitted to Glenn Medical Caenter with a stab wound. The investigation continues as to whether these two incidents are related.
