The reporting party said the suspect had assaulted a cashier and demanded money. As the officers were arriving, the reporting party advised the suspect was in front of the store.
Officers drew their duty weapons and ordered the suspect to the ground. The suspect complied and he was taken into custody without any further incident.
The suspect was identified as Gabriel McGill. It was determined McGill did not get any money from the store because the cashier defended themselves after being assaulted.
