On November 8, 2020, one of our deputies saw a white, Ford F150 driving on Ridge Road with expired registration.
The deputy completed a traffic stop and contacted the driver, Justin Montoya.
Due to the registration being expired by more than one year, the deputy chose to tow the vehicle. Prior to towing the vehicle, the deputy completed an inventory search of the vehicle and found a glass narcotics pipe on the seat.
The deputy then located approximately 8 grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle.
The vehicle was towed, the pipe and meth were collected as evidence and Montoya was issued a citation.
Great job deputy!
