“Officers Carrillo and Gibbs were working tonight with the specific law enforcement task of gang suppression within the City of Madera.
Through their earnest efforts and a timely traffic enforcement stop, Carlos Vasquez and Marcus Soliz were arrested.
Both subjects are convicted felons and were found to be in illegal possession of firearms.
MPD continually strives to put crime reduction, community safety, and liveability at the forefront of everything we do.”
