Tonight, Violence Suppression Task Force (VSTF) Officers made contact with several males inside and outside of a vehicle parked in the red zone at 914 Acosta Plaza.
Inside the vehicle was Leonel Gonzalez (26) and a juvenile male (16), both active Norteno gang members.
As Officers searched the juvenile a loaded 9mm ghost gun was located in his waistband.
During a further search of the vehicle another loaded 9mm SCCY firearm was located hidden in the door where Gonzalez was seated.
Both firearms were unregistered in the state of CA. The SCCY firearm was colored in a fashion that it could be mistaken for a replica firearm.
Both males were transported to jail on numerous firearm and gang charges. #gangsarebad #VSTF #SPD
