“On Monday 12/7/20 at approximately 3:00pm we received a 911 report of an idling vehicle that had just been stolen at Mercy Medical Center.
The information was immediately put out to our duty officer who followed up and requested a BOLO be put out to allied agencies.
In less than an hour the vehicle and suspect were located by deputies with the Siskiyou County Sherriff’s office.
The vehicle and all property inside were returned to the victim undamaged. The suspect was booked for multiple charges by the Sheriff’s office.
We would like to say thank you to our allied agencies for the quick response and help with the recovery.
It was a great reminder of how fortunate we are to live in a small community and utilize teamwork.”
