The Central Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a cyber tip related to the possession of child pornography.
The tip was followed up by a search warrant at the suspect’s house, 44-year old Jeffrey Logue. Collected from Logue’s home were electronic devices for further examination of potentially illegal material.
On December 9th , Logue was contacted and arrested at the Fresno Police Headquarters by detectives of the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.
At the time of his arrest Logue had been employed as a sworn Fresno police officer for 17 years. He was assigned to the Homeless Taskforce at the time of his termination which was personally executed by Fresno Police Chief Andrew Hall.
Logue was terminated before being booked at the Fresno County Jail for felony possession of child pornography. His bail was set at $20,000. At this time, there is no evidence to suggest Logue physically abused a child.
