“On December 20, 2020, at approximately 8:48 pm, deputies conducted an enforcement traffic stop on a gray Chevrolet Suburban for expired registration.
The Suburban was very slow to pull over. Once stopped, the sole occupant, Wesley Hill, exited the vehicle and was detained for further investigation, which is when Hill told deputies he had a loaded firearm in the vehicle.
A loaded AR-15 platform firearm was located in between the driver seat and center console. The firearm was illegally modified into a pistol sized rifle with a short barrel, no shoulder stock, and a removable magazine.
The firearm was chambered for 300 Blackout rifle ammunition. It had one bullet chambered with nine additional rounds in the magazine.
Hill was transported and booked into jail at Central Detention Center.”
