“On December 20th, a deputy from Team 1 conducted a traffic stop on a car on Interstate 80 near highway 37 for a vehicle violation.
While conversing with the driver, 21 -year-old Danny Phomvilay (San Pablo), the deputy could smell the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. When questioned about the smell, Phomvilay presented the deputy with a jar that contained concentrated THC in a “wax” form.
Based on probable cause, deputies searched Phomvilay’s car and located multiple firearms, loaded extended magazines, marijuana “hash,” and multiple Schedule IV controlled substance pills.
Subsequently, deputies arrested Phomvilay and booked him into the Solano County Jail on controlled substance and firearm-related charges.
