“Early this morning around 2:40AM, deputies spotted a vehicle near Stevens Creek and De Anza Boulevard in
Cupertino, California with stolen license plates. Deputies stopped the vehicle and detained both occupants, later identified as Dillon Garcia (31) and Iesha Riverstone (25).
Deputies determined Garcia was on probation for theft and Riverstone was on probation for possession of stolen property. Riverstone also had two warrants for possession of stolen property and drug-related charges.
After further investigation, deputies recovered numerous checks that did not belong to either suspect. Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Main Jail in San Jose.
