“Officer Zazueta made a traffic enforcement stop for expired registration at the intersection of Yosemite Parkway and Parsons Ave.
He made contact with the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle. While speaking with the driver officers noticed a methamphetamine pipe in the vehicle.
The driver was removed from the vehicle and placed under arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia. During search incident to arrest a concealed unloaded firearm was located in the driver’s pocket.
The driver was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
Incident: Prohibited person with a firearm
Date and Time: January 09, 2021 at 748PM
Location: Yosemite Parkway and Parsons Ave.
Arrested Person(s): Luis Mata, 39 years old
