“On January 10, 2021 at 8:48 p.m. Officer Centeno of the Merced Police department made an enforcement vehicle stop on Hwy 99 north of E. Childs Ave.
In speaking with the driver of the vehicle identified as Mario Gilberto Caballero (40) he learned that his license was suspended, and he was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Caballero was arrested and a search of his vehicle was conducted. Officer Centeno located just over one pound of Methamphetamine along with a little over $1500 in cash.
Caballero was transported to the Merced County jail where he was refused do to a zero bail for his charges. He was subsequently cited and released.
Incident: Transportation of Methamphetamine.
