“The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest for the shooting death of Enrique Arnulfo Jardon (Age 30) on the 6100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
25year-old Mason Johnlee Kinanahan (see attached photo) was arrested on January 12, 2021 and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on homicide charges. Detectives do not believe there are any outstanding suspects. No additional information is available at this time.

At 12:47 a.m. on Thursday November 5, 2020, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a call from Metro Fire to assist with a welfare check on a subject located on the 6100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The initial anonymous caller reported to Metro Fire that a subject at this location may be deceased.
Deputies responded to the area a short time later and located an unresponsive adult male subject with an undetermined injury to the upper body. Metro Fire pronounced the subject deceased at the scene.
Homicide Detectives are investigating and witness interviews are still being conducted. No further information is available at this time.
The identity of the victim in this case will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office pending notification of next of kin.
