On January 8, 2021, Narcotics Detectives assigned to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force, concluded an investigation with the execution of a search warrant in the 3700 block of Stockdale Highway.
During the investigation, Justin Rolin (28) was identified as being involved in the sales of narcotics, and to have been operating a marijuana dispensary in the Bakersfield area. Search warrants were served at Justin Rolin’s residence, and later at the marijuana dispensary located in the 1200 Block of California Ave.
The search resulted in the seizure of the following dangerous narcotics:
1.05 pounds of cocaine, packaged for sales, (estimated street value $47,641)
559 fentanyl pills, (estimated street value of $5,590)
3.3 pounds of marijuana, (estimated street value $4,950)
Total estimated street value of the above seized narcotics- $58,181.
A loaded firearm and currency consistent with narcotics sales ($6,487) were also located inside the residence. Justin Rolin was arrested for child endangerment, possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of a controlled substance while being armed with a loaded firearm, possession of marijuana for sales, and for maintaining a residence for narcotics sales.
Jennifer Esparza (26) was arrested for child endangerment, possession of marijuana for sales and for possession of a controlled substance.
Justin Rolin and Jennifer Esparza were booked into the Central Receiving Facility jail (CRF) and pending future court proceedings.
