“At 12:58 p.m. on January 19, a Placer County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop on eastbound Interstate 80, at Newcastle Road.
The deputy contacted the driver who initially gave him a false name, but the deputy was eventually able to identify the suspect driver as 23-year old Russell Novak, of Sacramento. Upon a search of Novak’s vehicle, the deputy found a brown zipper shoulder bag containing about 13 grams of a white rock-like substance suspected to be cocaine, digital scale, and two Apple iPhones.
Novak was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of narcotics for sale and giving a false name to a peace officer”
