“On the evening of Friday, January 22nd, members of the Tracy Police Department conducted a human trafficking investigation.
A 24-year-old Stockton resident, Lonnie Freeman, transported a 17-year-old female to the Tracy area under the pretenses of prostitution.
During the investigation it was determined the female was working directly for Freeman, for his financial gain. Freeman was booked into county jail for the following human trafficking and pimping charges:
PC 266(B)(1) -Pandering a person over 16
PC 272-Contribute to the delinquency of a minor
PC 266 H(B)(1)-Pimping for Prostitution over age 16
PC 236.1(C)-Human Trafficking of victim under 18 years of age.
The female juvenile was reunited to her mother, and due to the sensitivity of this investigation involving a juvenile, no additional information will be released.
