“Through further investigation conducted by CCPD Officer Tyler Balch and Sgt. Justin Gill we have identified another subject involved in the attempted jail smuggling case last night.
Current jail inmate Robert Sinnott (age 42) was arrested today for Conspiracy to Bring Narcotics into the Del Norte County Jail, a violation of 182 PC and 664/4573 PC.
Sinnott was already lodged in the Del Norte County Jail on other charges and remains in custody.
Our investigation will continue into this matter and I will post updates if we are able to identify anyone else involved.”
