While on patrol yesterday, Officer Camp noticed a vehicle that was double parked in the roadway.

While contacting the occupants of the vehicle, Nisha Ricks claimed the vehicle belonged to her.

After a little more investigating, Officer Camp learned the vehicle was reported stolen out of Fresno County.

Nisha was arrested and booked for possession of stolen property.

We will continue to strive to curb criminal activity in our community and keep Madera a safe place to live. AV3902
