“On February 7, 2021 at 10:19 P.M. the Merced police department received an emergency call of a subject with a knife and a fight in progress in the 2500 blk of Midge ave.
When officers arrived, they located two victims who had been stabbed. Witnesses directed officers to an apartment in the complex where the suspect was located.
Cody Lashmet (25) was taken into custody without incident. Both victims were transported to local hospitals, their injuries were not life threatening. Lashmet was booked into the Merced County jail for assault with a deadly weapon.
Incident: Assault with a deadly weapon.
