“CHPD officers responded to a vehicle theft which had just occurred.
Within minutes officers located the stolen vehicle and conducted a felony vehicle stop.
The 25 year old male driver was arrested without incident.
He was on probation for assault with a firearm and was a validated gang member.
During a search of the vehicle officers located a loaded handgun and approx. one ounce of methamphetamine.
The vehicle was returned to its owner and the suspect was transported to county jail and booked on numerous felony charges.”
