“Earlier today Crescent City Police Officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of H street for a report of a subject sleeping on a porch.
During the contact the suspect, Christoper Moore (age 35), struck an officer in the face and then continued fighting both officers until an officer was able to successfully deploy their TASER.
Moore was cleared medically and booked into the Del Norte County Jail for 69 PC, Felony Resisting/Obstructing an Officer.
The officer who was struck is currently being evaluated for minor injuries at Sutter Coast Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.”
