“Tuesday morning, Feb. 16, 2021 Officer Turner was working traffic enforcement as an effort to increase multi-model safety – (walking, cycling and automobile safety) in the area of Grande Cir. and E. Tabor. Officer Turner observed a vehicle code violation leading to a traffic enforcement stop.
During his investigation Officer Turner identified Donsha Trass a 38-year-old male of Fairfield as the driver. Trass was operating a motor vehicle with a suspended licenses, no seatbelt and no insurance.
Pursuant to Mr. Trass’s arrest for driving on a suspended license a vehicle inventory search was conducted. During that time officers located a loaded silver revolver with no registered owner.
Mr. Trass was arrested and booked into the Solano County Jail for: Possession of a loaded firearm 25850(a), felon in possession of a firearm 29800(a)(1), driving with a suspended license 14601(A), driving without insurance 16028(a) and possession of marijuana while driving 23222(B)
The Department continues to work to reduce harm, crime and the fear of crime within the area of Grande Cir.”
