“On 02/21/2021, an SSFPD officer on patrol received broadcasted information, regarding armed suspects who’d robbed chain-convenient stores in Redwood City and San Bruno.
The SSFPD officer responded to the 3000 block of Callan Boulevard in an attempt to deter any potential suspects from robbing South San Francisco chain-convenient stores if they entered our city.
The SSFPD officer located a black 2018 Chevy SUV parked in a 7-Eleven parking lot with three males seated inside. A witness nearby also advised SSFPD officers that the subjects were acting suspicious and had been in the parking lot for some time.
An investigation revealed the driver- Hayward resident, was unlawfully in possession of a loaded illegal non-serialized “ghost gun” and narcotics. One of the passengers- Pacifica resident, was also found to be in possession of illegal narcotics.
The parties were determined to not be involved in the earlier reported robberies, but were placed under arrest for multiple felony firearm/ narcotics related offense. Great work by SSFPD Swing/Grave shift patrol officers in being proactive and getting an illegal firearm off the street.”
