A stabbing occurred on February 24 and the victims identified to dispatch his stabber’s name was Noah.
Arriving officers spotted the suspect on a greenway near the scene. 20-year-old transient Noah William Smith was detained.
The victim was on the ground near a “transient encampment” with “a significant amount of blood on his face.”
Victim Joseph Wesley Hendricks was taken to the Fairchild Medical Center.
Suspect Smith was carrying “khaki-colored overalls…covered in blood.” In addition he had blood on his shoes and white shirt.
On February 26 Hendricks died. Smith was booked for assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery, probation violation and murder.
