“Detectives from the Fontana Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force discovered David Tapia (29 years of age) was downloading and distributing child pornography over the internet.
On March 3, 2021, a search warrant was served with the assistance of the Ontario Police Department’s @ontario_pd ICAC Unit at Tapia’s residence (1300 block of E. Elma Court) in the City of Ontario. During the search warrant, Detectives seized multiple electronic devices. Evidence relating to the downloading and distributing of child pornography was located.
Tapia was arrested for Possession and Distribution of Child Pornography and was booked at West Valley Detention Center.
