A call came in to the Fresno Police Department on February 1 concerning the welfare of a 28-year-old female.
Police suspected the possibility of the human trafficking of the woman. An investigation revealed that 26-year-old Bryan Anthony Scott had contacted the victim on social media.
The suspect was instrumental in getting the victim to come to Fresno from Texas, promising her financial support.
However, the victim instead was “forced to commit acts of prostitution in the Bay Area, Central Coast and Fresno.”
In Fresno she escaped and called 911. On March 5th Scott was arrested on a warrant. He was booked on charges of pimping, pandering and human trafficking.
