On February 4th the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office had an officer-involved shooting. The young female who was shot lost her life.
An investigation has begun, involving witness statements, video review and analysis of forensic evidence.
Video and audio evidence will be released in the weeks to come. The two deputies who were involved in the shooting were placed on administrative leave.
