Juvenile Mayhem – Teen Arrested for At Least Two Armed-Robbery Events
CULVER CITY – An arrest for two separate crimes has been made by Culver City Police. Investigation updates are revealing much more.
First, a Valentine’s Day dinner at a local restaurant went terribly wrong when a couple seated outside were robbed at gunpoint. The armed robbery of the man and his wife took place at 6251 Bristol Parkway at approximately 8:38 PM on 02/14/2021.
The suspects fled the scene. Culver City Police were immediately notified. The robbers had disappeared, along with the man’s property.
Two weeks later, a night-time horror occurred at the parking lot of the Mall, 6000 Sepulveda Blvd. As a 73-year-old female was heading to her car, suspects attacked her on the walk to her vehicle.
The woman was struck multiple times, all while the suspects demanded the victim’s property.
Unable to obtain anything from the terrified, harmed woman, the suspects took off in a silver BMW.
Ongoing investigations ensued. “Culver City Police Department Detectives, in conjunction with
Detectives from LAPD Pacific and Wilshire Divisions, were able to identify the suspect from both Culver City crimes as a 17-year-old male from the City of Los Angeles,” said Manuel Cid, Chief of Police.”
“The juvenile was located and placed under arrest on March 05, 2021,” added Chief Cid. In the meantime, an update to this ongoing case has revealed that there is reason to believe that the
anonymous juvenile is responsible for at least ten robberies throughout the local region. “A case has
been filed with the Inglewood Juvenile Court,” said Lieutenant Estrada.
