On the morning of March 15th two women were in a fight in a driveway of a house in the 800 block of De Wolf Avenue.
When officers had arrived the suspect, 42-year-old Carrie Drew, had left the scene.
Left behind was her 67-year-old mother, “beaten up and stabbed in her upper body.” The victim is in stable condition and “is expected to make a full recovery.”
Drew had left the house with her four year old son in her 2017 Chevrolet HHR.
A deputy spotted the vehicle a few hours later on Auberry Road and made a traffic stop and took Drew into custody.
She has booked on charges of attempted murder and elder abuse.
