On the afternoon of March 21 a MCSO deputy conducted a vehicle check in the 1300 block of North State Street.
38-year-old Lewis Dishman was the driver. The deputy noticed a meth pipe in the vehicle’s center console.
Dishman was asked to exit the vehicle and be detained while the deputy searched his vehicle.
The agitated suspect “shoulder-checked the deputy and tried to pull away.”
Dishman was then “placed on the ground” and other deputies arrived to help.
He was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, parole violation and resisting an officer. Finally, he was booked in the Mendocino County Jail with a bail of $15,000.
