Two arrested with guns, drugs, ammunition, body armor

Last Friday afternoon, the Property Crimes Unit along with the SWAT team served a search warrant in the 18000 blk of Rea Avenue in the unincorporated area of Aromas.

During the investigation, detectives located a large amount of drugs, cash, numerous illegally possessed firearms, ammunition and body armor.

They discovered Stribling was also manufacturing firearms out of the residence. 31-year old Daniel Smith was also arrested during the search warrant.

Stribling and Smith were booked into the Monterey County Jail for child endangerment, committing a felony while out on bail, along with weapons and drug related charges.”
