One arrested, one suspect at large in connection to alleged theft from inventory yard

Madera County authorities have arrested one suspect and are seeking the whereabouts of a second suspect in connection to hundreds of dollars in equipment allegedly being stolen from a supply company inventory yard.
In the early morning hours of March 20, a Sheriff’s Office Corporal spotted a man walking near a white Pontiac Sedan, both of which he then watched enter the back parking lot of the Tractor Supply Company on Country Club Drive.
The Corporal later saw the suspect leaving the inventory yard and got out to investigate, at which point the suspect fled and, after a short foot pursuit, managed to escape.
Upon checking the car, the officer spoke with the driver — identified as 32-year-old LaRae Pisano — and noticed a brand-new pressure washer in the backseat. Two chainsaws were also later found in a nearby bin, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Pisano was later arrested and booked on suspicion of possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, and aiding and abetting. The outstanding suspect is describe as a Hispanic male standing approximately 5-foot-8 and weighing about 180 pounds.
