Santa Rosa Police: Multiple suspects arrested in connection to Lazzini Avenue homicide

“Santa Rosa Police Department’s Violent Crimes Detectives have continued to investigate the homicide that occurred on April 4, on Lazzini Av. Through their thorough investigation, Bryan David Martinez-Gonzalez, 20-year-old Santa Rosa resident, has been identified as the primary homicide suspect.
Martinez-Gonzalez was arrest today, at 2:17PM during a search warrant at his residence, in the 2300 block of Lemur St, Santa Rosa. Upon service of the search warrant, Martinez-Gonzalez complied with on scene Crisis Negotiators and SWAT operators. Martinez-Gonzalez was taken into custody, without incident.
Martinez-Gonzalez is being charged with homicide, related to the fatal shooting death of Sergio Santana. This case is being investigated as a possible gang crime, but the investigation is still on-going. The motives and actions leading up to the shooting are also still being investigated.
Martinez-Gonzalez will be booked into the Sonoma County jail for homicide with no bail.
While conducting follow-up throughout the week, the following individuals have also been arrested for various roles associated with the homicide:
Raul Rafael Cardenas-Valencia, 23-year-old, Cloverdale resident:

Jesse Villavicencio, 19-year-old, Cloverdale resident:
32 PC – Accessories: Aiding a Principal to Avoid Prosecution or Punishment
1203.2 PC – Violation of Probation
Julio Cesar Gonzalez, 26-year-old, Santa Rosa resident:
32 PC – Accessories: Aiding a Principal to Avoid Prosecution or Punishment
135 PC – Destroy/Concealing Evidence”
