“On 04/08/21, El Dorado Gang Enforcement (EDGE) conducted intelligence operations at various locations within El Dorado County.
EDGE members contacted several people believed to be members of, or associates of, various gangs or security threat groups.
During one such contact, three firearms were confiscated. The subject found to be in possession of the firearms was arrested for being a felon or prohibited person in possession of a firearm and possession of an illegal firearm, (short barreled shotgun).
Another subject in the same residence was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
EDGE is a collaborative effort involving EDSO deputies and Probation Officers from El Dorado County Probation specializing in education, intervention, intelligence, and enforcement.”
