Upon contact with the driver, the officer was made aware he was on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS).
Based on the driver’s probation status, a search was conducted of the vehicle and his person.
During the search, officers located drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The driver, identified as 33 year old Landon Kehn of Grass Valley, was subsequently arrested for felony probation violation, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license. He was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
After Kehn was booked, Nevada City officers responded to a motel in Grass Valley in which Kehn stated he has been residing in. A search of his room revealed approximately 13 pounds of marijuana in various stages of processing.
