A man on parole was recently arrested after reportedly being caught with weapons and narcotics during a routine compliance check, Porterville Police say.
On the afternoon of Friday, April 23, an officer visited the 14000 block of Road 274 to conduct a compliance check on 46-year-old Jesse Mendoza, a previously convicted felon currently out on bail for a previous arrest.
Upon searching Mendoza’s residence, the officer reportedly discovered numerous narcotics, paraphernalia, and a loaded (and stolen) firearm.
Mendoza was taken into custody and booked at the Sheriff’s Office South County detention facility, this time without bail.
