“SCPD is always on the lookout for wanted felons in our city. Officer George immediately recognized Raincloud Moon from multiple previous law enforcement contacts. This Sunday, 5/9/2021, when Officer George arrested Mr. Moon, he had a concealed and loaded pistol in his front pants pocket.
Just before his arrest, Mr. MOON unlawfully used a victim’s stolen debit card to make several purchases at stores on the 800 block of Water Street.
Raincloud Moon was arrested and delivered to the Santa Cruz County Jail on the following charges: Felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, Identity theft, Credit card theft and possession of drug paraphernalia
Thank you, Officers, for removing another criminally possessed gun and felon off the street. SCPD is dedicated to our community with ongoing efforts to keep Santa Cruz a safe place to live, work & raise a family.”
