“Incident Update (5/13): Madera County Sheriff’s Detectives have identified a suspect in yesterday’s stabbing incident that occurred in the area of Road 427 and Road 426 in Oakhurst. They have also determined this was not a random act of violence, but appears to have stemmed from a dispute between parties known to each other.
19 year old Destinee Annette Harner has been named as a suspect in this case.
19 year old Nehemiah Everett Dick is currently a person of interest who is wanted for questioning related to this case.
Both subjects are outstanding. Their photos are included below (Destinee shown on left, Nehemiah on right). MCSO is requesting the public’s assistance in locating them or identifying their whereabouts. Anyone with information relating to this case, or the locations of Destinee and/or Nehemiah, are encouraged to contact Corporal Gutierrez or Detective Babineaux at (559) 675-7770. On Thursday May 13, 2021 around 6:30pm, 19 year old Destinee Annette Harner and 19 year old Nehemiah Everett Dick were taken into custody without incident by Madera County Sheriff’s Detectives.
Both parties were booked in at the Madera County Jail. Harner was booked on felony charges of attempted murder and criminal conspiracy; Dick was booked on felony charges of attempted murder, criminal conspiracy, and misdemeanor violation of a restraining order.”
