MAGALIA RESIDENT ARRESTED FOR BEING A PROHIBITED PERSON IN POSSESSION OF FIREARMS

MAGALIA – Deputies on patrol on May 9th came across a man sleeping in a parked vehicle near Grinnell Court.
37-year-old Micah Metzker was on Post Release Community Supervision and liable to search.
Deputies located two handguns, firearms parts, tools used ot manufacture firearms, ammunition, paraphernalia and heroin.
A subsequent search of Metzker’s residence in the 6000 block of Guilford Circle located “4 AR-15 rifle lower receivers and ammunition.” Apparently the suspect was manufacturing firearms.
Metzker’s charges include being a felon in possession of firearms, violation of the terms of his PRCS and possession of a narcotic substance.
