On May 25, 2021, at 3:11 a.m., Stockton Police Community Response Team Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Alpine Avenue and Alvarado Avenue when a passenger fled from the vehicle on foot.
The passenger was taken into custody after discarding a firearm.
The vehicle fled and led officers on a short pursuit before stopping.
Arrested were Joseph Ferriera, 26, for evading, Jamaal Cooper, 18, for a warrant, and a 14-year-old male for resisting and weapon charges
