Originally published as a Fresno Police Department press release –
“On Sunday, May 30, 2021, at 1:13pm, officers from the Northwest Policing District responded to Colima’s Fade Shop, located in the 6700 block of N. Blackstone Avenue, regarding an unresponsive male inside the location.
Officers arrived and found 23yr old Alex Solorio inside, suffering from trauma to his body. Emergency Medical Services personnel arrived and pronounced Solorio deceased on scene.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene where they learned employees of the barber shop arrived at the location to open for business and found Solorio, their co-worker, unresponsive inside.
Detectives are trying to determine the events leading up to his death and are asking anyone with information to
contact the Fresno Police Department.”
