Yesterday at around 9 in the morning, Deputies were doing extra patrol in the area of Salmon Falls Road due to vehicle burglaries in the area this time of year.
A traffic stop resulted in contacting four occupants of a vehicle, three of which had outstanding arrest warrants. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of various burglary tools to include shaved keys, drug paraphernalia, and nearly an ounce of methamphetamine.
50-year-old Thomas Seely from Sacramento was arrested and booked for driving on a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance, and three local arrest warrants.
34-year-old Brandon Gibbons from Sacramento was arrested and booked for possession of burglary tools, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a violation of probation.
The remaining two occupants of the vehicle were cited and released from the scene.
This is another good reminder to always lock your vehicle and take your valuables with you when recreating in El Dorado County
