Catalytic Converter Theft Arrest

Originally published as a Stockton Police Department –  

“Early this morning, at 3:36 a.m., Stockton Police Patrol Officers were working in the 3000 block of East Hammer Lane and heard the sound of saws cutting metal.

The officers checked the business and saw two suspects running from the location.

Officers caught one of the suspects and pulled him to the ground.

A Taser was deployed to take the suspect into custody.

The second suspect made good his escape. Investigation revealed the suspect was stealing a catalytic converter from a vehicle.

Arrested was Juan Zavala, 24, for grand theft and resisting arrest.”
